Twice during my Cavalcade Of Lights neighbourhood shoots, I've had opportunities to use the location's environment to enhance my photos. This first example is from The Kingsway.
If you haven't noticed already, I've avoided shooting Cavalcade lights attached to light poles. I was also going to pass on shooting these lights, but the moon near the upper right corner changed my mind.
This second example is from Albion Islington Square.
As I took photos here, I noticed that a lot of planes flew overhead. I eventually decided to try capturing their light trails in a few photos; this is one of the better attempts.
These aren't my first instances of environmental photo enhancement; they surely won't be my last ones, neither.
